More about Ryan
Ryan Gonzalez moved to Greeley and House District 50 in middle school. He was born to Mexican immigrants who came to America for better opportunity, freedom and liberty.
Ryan’s mother Rosa taught him morals, principles, and a work ethic that led him to become the first member of his family to graduate from both high school and college. With a great deal of grit and determination Ryan earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the Monfort School Business and went on to complete the Leadership Program of the Rockies, a program that focuses on how visionary, principle-centered leadership can positively impact a community.
As a single, Latino man hoping to someday buy a house and settle down with a family, Ryan has recognized the struggles and the roadblocks put in place by the current administration in Colorado, which has led to rising inflation, increased crime, and a loss of values and civil liberties.
After nearly defeating his opponent in 2022, Gonzalez is reenergized and ready to fight again to help restore Colorado to the once great state it was. The 2022 race proved that HD 50 residents desire new leadership. His opponent won with just 49 percent of the vote. It was the closest House race in Colorado. Just 330 votes separated Ryan from his opponent.
